Live in Colorado? Booted out of the Amazon affiliate program? Looking for alternatives?

Think:

  1. eBay
  2. Overstock
  3. PriceRunner (UK)
  4. QVC
  5. Shopping.com
  6. ShopZilla

Better yet, forge relationships with individual merchants on affiliate networks — and get paid higher commissions than you would have received from Amazon.

Remember, Amazon pays only 4% on General Products if you sell 1 – 6 products in any given month. That increases to a ‘whopping’ 6% if you sell between 7 – 30 products and goes all the way up to 8.5% — but only if you sell 3131 products or more.

By contrast, eBags (a CJ merchant) starts at 9% and has a range of products that pay 20% commissions.

Likewise, the Cell Phone Shop (also a CJ merchant) pays 15% commissions on cell phone accessories. They also have a Performance Incentive that can take you all the way to 19.99% (if you sell 40K or more worth of product).

And Hammacher Schlemmer, which sells the most awesome array of products pays 10% across the board.

Who would have thought getting booted from Amazon could be such a lucrative opportunity? :-)
